I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN IT ALL FROM THE ELDERLY
A s a child I was instructed on how I should comport myself around the elderly to show the utmost of respect. Of course times were very different. On the bus, subway or any public transportation anyone would stand and offer their seat to any elderly person or a woman who was standing because of lack of seating. I have encountered all sorts of behavior from the Alzheimer's patients to include my mother over the years. I never saw intentional disrespect from the elderly until this past decade....
