In the Midst of a Drought

The Baltimore Metropolitan is in the midst of a drought with the amount of rainfall being 4.5 inches less than its average for this time of the year. What Winter?

What an unusual winter 2012 had. The Baltimore Metropolitan Area only received 1.8 inches of snow. The last time we received less than two inches of snow was back in Winter 1973 when 1.2 inches fell.
