The Gas Station Was Busy

Location A was one of the busiest gas stations in the state of Maryland from late 1990 through late 1999. During that time, the business routinely pumped four million gallons per year. Those of us who sell Car Wash Club memberships receive a commission. At Location B, the commission is $10 for the customer's first vehicle, $5 for any additional vehicle, because additional vehicles themselves receive discounts. At the businesses, a lot of people throw away recyclables. Rather than to see those recyclables end up in a landfill or incinerated, I grab as many of them as I can, setting them out for curbside recycling at Mom's.
