Awkward Pay

Jake always acts awkward when it is payday. I give him his check, and a sheepish look forms on his face. I have never seen an employee act that way. Slow Labor

Labor Day Weekend has been slow thus far. It's cloudy and we have had bouts of rain. Last night's rain was something. The rain was pouring down hard. House Arrest Done

Summer 2016. "Jake's back in the fold," Dad told me. "He's no longer under house arrest. He's going to start working for us on Saturdays." I was pleased with the news. Visiting an Old Friend

I spent an hour yesterday, my off day, visiting currently former Kenneth. A blood clot and Alzheimers neccisitated Kenneth moving in with his friend Billy, who lives near us.
