Why ground? Why center? Why go In if God is Out There?

This is a response to a comment from Sannhet that bears repeating, plus a few more words... The grounding is the first step to centering, but where you place your boundaries is important in owning the body and its energies. Spirit loves to soar, to expand out, to reach out and touch as much of the Universe as it can... This meditation is intended to help Spirit bring that home to the Body-- Like the Parent bringing home a video with popcorn-- transmuting the energies so that the Child can... Finding Your Way to Your Own Center... The Next Step in Meditation

Hello again! I hope you're having fun with this... It's kind of like the soul's equivalent of a baby discovering its fingers and toes, and how things work. When my son was about 5 weeks old, when he was in his cradle, I tied a shiny mylar helium balloon to his ankle. From across the room, I watched as the balloon twitched and danced like mad for a bit. Then, it got very quiet... Then it danced and bounced like mad some more... and then it got very quiet... This game went on a while, and just... Sign in to see full entry.

Revelations and Realities--continued...

One of those assumptions that is rarely questioned, because it is taught at such a fundamental level, is that there is Only One. If you've read my earlier posts in this blog, you know I believe that to be true: The Ultimate Equation: EVERYTHING = ONE. I believe that that ONE is Everything That Is, with absolute Sentience. That is the apex of my model of the Universe. But here, where we deal in manifestations and thought-forms, and some realities being more real than others, and some seeming more... Warrior and Angel: Revelations and Realities

JZ Knight has made a fortune and considerable controversy and built a nice place in Yelm, down the road from where I live, through channeling the entity Ramtha, self-defined as a 25,000 year old warrior with undertones of ancient India. Well, there is the historic problem with a warrior culture in India during the latest of the great Ice Ages, at a time when Homo sapiens was still a newly-evolved creature represented mainly by Homo sapiens neandertalensis, and H sapiens sapiens was still a... A Warning

Back in the earliest pages of this blog, posted on Jan 6, I drew a model of three concentric circles. http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Ciel2752/s35 And now I draw your attention to that model once again. Particularly to the second circle, the level of thought-forms, where it's all about blueprints that connect and integrate the intention of the spiritual with the manifestation of the physical. In that second circle, thoughts have form, they have reality, but it is a subtle reality compared... Sign in to see full entry.

Why Bother With Religion?

I am spiritual: I am not a member or advocate of any specific religion. Religion is dogma, creed and ritual: it informs its followers of what to believe and how to act in accordance with the Truth it declares.. I can give that space in my Reality. Where I have to draw the line is when a religion takes it upon itself to punish those who choose other Truths and paths. I believe in the physical laws of gravity and conservation of energy and evolution. (You who think you can prove evolution has not... Sign in to see full entry.

Got a friend? Here's a grounding exercise / game that takes two:

First, stand facing each other. Taking turns, first one then the other, give your partner a little shove. Notice how they react, how it feels when you push them, How did it feel to get pushed? Second, try lifting each other just a little off the ground. Again, notice the sensation of lifting, and being lifted. Now -- and you can do this standing if you like: Take a few minutes to say 'hello' to yourself, and establish your grounding. Remember, you don't have to try-- trying and doing don't work... Meditation 101: Sorting Yourself Out From The Chaos

prerequisites 1-- How Not To Get Fried (posted Feb 1st) http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Ciel2752/s15 2 --Step One, practiced, preferrably, a couple of times or more The first step sat you down, and got you into communication with yourself. It helped you locate your self inside all the fuss and bother that is your daily routine in this busy, noisy, demanding world. It helped you make a distinction between your Self and your Body. The second step helps you define your Self in relation to the... Sign in to see full entry.

Welcome to Meditation 101 -- Say Hello--

Hello! and Welcome! The first step is to sit down. That might be the hardest thing to do, considering how busy lives are, how short the hours, the number of demands from moment to moment... Finding the time to get quiet and still-- 20 minutes? An hour is better, but 20 minutes is a start... That's the first commitment you have to make to meditation. The second step is to close your eyes, and turn inwards. Stop paying attention to what's going on around you. At first, finding a place that is... Sign in to see full entry.
