#10 Can of Worms, Now Open...

One of the fundamentals of Gnostic belief is that the God of the Bible is not, in fact, the One, the Source, the Supreme Being. Personally, I have no trouble with this-- I've had that entity pegged for some time as one of various 'creator entities' that choose a people to be active agents in the material world and set about creating a reality.. I prefer another whose agenda is about co-creating a world with a chosen people, and for them-- rather than Yahweh who is all about creating a reality... Sign in to see full entry.

DaVinci, step aside: Judas has entered the building...

I've been reading the translation, recently published by National Geographic, of the Gnostic document, the Gospel of Judas. The document is translated in a small volume with the history of the Gospel- how this particular copy was found, restored and authenticated, as well as what is known about the original composition. There are also several commentaries discussing its contents, and how it relates to both traditional orthodoxy and other Gnostic branches of Christianity. I am fascinated to... Calm & neutrality sometimes have to be a very conscious choice... Grounding and centering help one to be there, but sometimes it seems to be a matter of having your conscious Self calm and neutral, while watching the kids-- the parts of you that whoop it up with excitement, and carry your outward self along with them. Seeking the meaning of life, the universe and everything... here y'go!

I've been re-reading Michael Talbot's THE HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE. Wow! It isn't new-- came out in 1991, and I had a copy that I read about 6 years ago and then loaned to someone who lost it. I found a copy at a used book store on Sunday, and snatched it up. I had forgotten what a great, epiphanous book it is! This is the book that makes everything I have written here make sense: It is the framing and foundation and connecting pieces of the Big Picture, the great jigsaw puzzle of Reality I have... mirror, mirror... What the...???

Sometimes, it's about the body.

It's such an easy thing to sit back and meditate your problems away. In fact, it is amazing how many physical troubles can suddenly resolve themselves, when one makes mediation a regular, daily practice, and gets energies flowing in the right directions, and cleans out the obstructions and takes out the trash. But sometimes, when there is a complaint from the body or the mind, or emotions, it really is a body problem, and will most easily and effectively be resolved by a physical or medical... How is energy replaced if we send healings...

...and if energy is cleansed by grounding and centering, what of the energy that is given here and there and left or taken here and there? Energy is replaced just like oxygen is replaced in our systems when we breathe. Why can't I see when I close my eyes?

I've been asked about the ability to see clearly-- clairvoyantly, psychically, remotely--and why the trick to it seems to be so elusive. It's an question with a lot of answers, at a lot of different levels. I always hated the one about learning to walk before turning hand-springs, so I won't give you that one this time... I'm sure you already have got it that it all begins with grounding and centering. Think about how the energy in the hands thing was. It was something familiar, before you knew...
