Dichotomies and Balance

It's all in where the observer stands, and the filters through which the observer perceives. Balance and lack of balance are perceptions in a Universe where balance is established whether we perceive it or not; things seeming to be out of balance is a matter of looking too narrowly at a situation. Gnostics and Wisdom

Sophia-- a pretty name... the name given in Gnostics writings to the personification of the female principle of divine Wisdom: the Wisdom of Insight, according to the Secret Book of John, one of the Gnostic texts. Seed Energies: Core Beliefs in Societies and Cultures

Visions and Visits: Grandmother Spider

Several years ago, I received some energy work that involved channeling energy through the chakras. There is a universal theme in here... and this is my only blog now, so:

Beverly She made a list a day or two before of cookies, of a meeting and some charity she intended that would have come off busily, no fuss: ticked off, accomplished, if she had not died. When I was 3, my mother died suddenly. Being so young, after a few years I barely remembered her-- I remember a sadness when I was around 6, when I realized I could no longer recall her face.
