I identified CPTSD as the handle on the basket of all my behaviors and oddnesses maybe 30 years ago, just as psychologists were beginning to recognize it as a thing. It still isn't acknowledged in all the diagnostic manuals though it is pretty well-established by now that it exists and explains so much of so many broken lives.
