Taking the train-of-thought into the past

If you're disappointed in God it could be your expectations are unrealistic...maybe it's because you don't have a realistic notion of what God is, and what you can reasonably expect. Maybe God doesn't do the kind of stuff you've been led to expect God does. Maybe the role of God in the Universe isn't what you've been taught. Isn't it amusing that God chooses to express Itself in this way?

That's one of the more useful mantras I 've got to remind myself to use more often. It's my belief that everything exists on multiple levels or planes of reality, and that one of these levels--or a certain level of all of them--is, in fact, God: that everything is, at some level, an expression of the Divine. Healing Animals

Now and then I have been asked to do some healing work with animals. Usually it is a health matter, something that presents as a physical ailment or issue. The first thing I tell the person concerned is that I am not trained in or adept at doing physical healing. What I can do is look at and manipulate the energies around the physical. I wanted this to go a little further...

It started as a comment in Bhaskar's post about being 'born anew.' I spent about 3 years immersed in the only church I've ever found that came close to my heart. It is The Church of Divine Man, a Christ-based church that recognizes that we are essentially spirit; that bodies, lives, thoughts, beliefs, and all, etc, are things that we have. Magic Isn't REAL! Really?

Gomedome has made his latest post on this topic. Down-to-earth, practical fellow that he is, he asks anyone to offer proof that magic exists. We have his opinion that it doesn't, which is adequate for someone quite thoroughly certain that he knows enough about the Universe to make such a flat negative statement credible: His belief is his bond.
