We Went For A Walkabout Today

My friend and I went out wandering for a bit with the dogs out by the Natalie National Camping Area. It was a beautiful sun-filled day and the dogs ran until they began to head US back to the car instead of my having to coax them back. Here for your perusal are four shots. I couldn't get to sleep until very late last night. It wasn't that I didn't want to get to sleep - I couldn't. I had all three dogs in bed with me and they used me as the base for their 'puppy pile.' Woldn't ya know? I worked all day getting things ready to broadcast and five minutes before the start of the race... it rained... HARD. Races canceled. It's race day today. I swore that last year was my last year of doing the live video streaming out of Crystal Motor Speedway, Crystal Michigan, but the owner has been a long time friend of mine and he asked me to do it 'one more year.' Today at Lake Superior

It was bloody cold with a very stiff wind coming in off Lake Superior as you can hear. This is just west of the very tip of the Whitefish Bay Point about 3PM today. The tide was coming in very fast. I got a lot done yesterday during the wind, rain, and cold. At least some of it will show up here soon.
