The power has been flickering on and off all day and evening, so working on a Word document is dangerous in that you can lose anything that you haven't saved. I try to hit 'control' + 'S' to save as often as possible, but the last thing I want to do is lose something good because I hadn't saved my... Sign in to see full entry.
This FB post is made by a friend of mine who has done a lot of writing in and for Hollywood types. You can see his website here. Skip just posted this on FB this morning and sent me an email to make sure I checked it out. I thought those of you who 'write for a living' should check it out. Outfoxing... It has stopped raining. Now it is snowing like crazy outside. Great big fluffy flakes, causing the snow to accumulate quick. I need to get to the Soo, but not in this type of snow storm. I'm goofy, not crazy. Buster, my big black dog, likes to lay out in the snow. He just came in and he was covered... Sign in to see full entry.
One of the dogs woke me up about 5AM, asking to go outside. Once again, it appears we are riding the edge of rain and snow. Currently, we are on the rain side. Late this morning, I have to drive over to the Soo to get some meds. Hopefully, it continues to stay rain until I get back! Sign in to see full entry.

Last Weeks Books Sales Report
As much as Amazon aggravates me, they are beginning to get me further out there with their 'Reach Out' program. Note I am accruing sales beyond Great Britain and India now. France has been hit and miss, but the last few weeks have registered a number of books sold there each week. New in the past... Sign in to see full entry.
The big snow storm predicted for my area has missed me by about half a mile. We've gotten close to an inch of rain, but no snow until you get just northwest of Newberry. We still have a lot of snow on the ground, but it's a sloppy mess outside. Wonderful. I know that I've whined about it for six to... Sign in to see full entry.

All of that 'dingy old snow' is about to get a face lift later tonight. Depending on which radio station you listen to, we could get anywhere from one to seven inches of new snow tonight. As if we needed it. Oh well, I knew it snowed like crazy up here when I moved here. I don't want to beat this to... Sign in to see full entry.

Without getting all weird and such, my mind has been off in deep fog lately. Thoughts appear, are 'seen' for a few moments, and then drift away again. I've had periods like this before that have led to hyper-productive spells. Let's hope that this foggy-minded spell works that same way. The warm... Sign in to see full entry.

Temps are expected in the low 40's today. While I doubt that we will see grass again, the snow in the yard is beginning to considerably shallow up. I hope your Christmas day was all that you hoped it would be. Family and friends are essential to a happy life. If you want to see Maslow's Hierarchy of... Sign in to see full entry.

For their Christmas, I took the animals out along Kak's Lake, about five miles southwest of me. They had a blast. The temp is above freezing, making for a dense fog. It didn't take them long to realize that they could run out of each others sight and sneak around behind the other. Kids. Nothing but... Sign in to see full entry.
