This was taken near the same place as my other bear shots from yesterday were taken, but this time from a longer distance using my cell. If you look real hard, you can see two of the cubs behind mama. One cub has his head up, and you can spot his ears behind his mama's behind. Mama wasn't aggressive... Sign in to see full entry.
Check out my photo area for some of the most stunning pics I've taken in a long time. I've stood within five feet of racecars coming through a hairpin turn at 90+ mph, and I was not as nervous as I was yesterday taking these photos. Another nice day is ahead before rain on the weekend. That's fine... Sign in to see full entry.

I had a remarkable encounter out in the forest this morning. I have seen these creatures before and have taken photos, but this was both a wonderful, yet scary as all sin. One wrong move could have caused me a lot of trouble, but I was able to maintain my animals, grabbed about a dozen shots, and... Sign in to see full entry.
It's looking like it could be a beautiful day. It looks to be about 75 today with clear skies. After I finish my morning writing session, I think I might pull my lawn-chair recliner out and lay in the shade of my big pine tree for a bit. It's been a long winter, and I think that it is finally... Sign in to see full entry.

A Bit of Explanation & Some 'Religious' Thoughts -A Glimpse Forward
I managed to get what I think is a solid 1100 words into my 'Interdimensional' story tonight. I had allowed my fingers to paint me into a corner of sorts with that ' {Come to me!} stuff. Without changing a thing of my prior posts, I found a trick door out of the corner and never disturbed any of the... Sign in to see full entry.
We have a heavy thunderstorm over us right now. It won't last long, but it sure is coming down right now. The one good thing about this storm is that when I take the dogs for our daily walk, the mosquitoes won't be out en-masse as the air will be too heavy for them due to the moisture in the air. It... Yeah, I should have gotten back here sooner, but doo-wop occurs, ya know? My new neighbor lady had been out mowing early this afternoon. When a brief, but heavy rain started, she pushed her mower under one of the big pine trees in her yard and started up her porch steps. She made it to the second of... Sign in to see full entry.
A slow warm up is beginning today. Instead of high temps in the upper forties and low fifties, we should hit the mid sixties. I can handle that again. LOL... I've been trying to make this post for over 30 minutes now, and have been interrupted by five calls. In the mean time, I've accumulated my own... Sign in to see full entry.

Things are calming, being resolved in parts of the mind that are in charge of handling things the normal brain doesn't want to think about. Once I settled down to write in my 'Interdimensional' story, the story line began to develop itself, changing ever so slightly again. I hadn't thought about the... Sign in to see full entry.
I didn't get to worry too much about my own problems last night as various other situations presented themselves. First on the list was my neighbor decided that he could remove a big ol' pine tree that was on his property, but brushed against my house. When the winds coming off Lake Superior got...
