This was taken in the late spring/early summer of 2020. The wife (then "girlfriend") & I were walking along a favorite trail, and she said she heard something in the bushes, so we stood still, and sure enough, this pretty yearly doe came creeping out to check us out. I took this shot at the Seney National Wildlife Preserve back in the late spring of 2017. It was about 8AM, but the air was cooler than the temperature of the water, causing this deep fog to hang over the pond. I was messing with some solar filters, and as you can see, this particular shot did not benefit from the filter, but that was the purpose of the exercise!
