This is another "honeymoon" photo. We camped on the shore of Mama Superior one hot August night and enjoyed the sounds of the relentless waves and songs of the birds. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Coiled Corn Snake
We were walking out of the forest and to the parking lot, and this young corn snake turned to us and "stood up" to warn us he was dangerous. Corn snakes are not poisonous or dangerous. They eat lots of mice and other rodents. We took a step back and he stood down and crossed the road. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

Sweetie Pie and Her Fawn
This white deer is a very well-known animal in the UP. She was born in the spring of 2017, making her about five, and this is her fourth fawn. She is a good mama, and so far, all of her babies have grown to be adults. Check it out! Sign in to see full entry.

One of my Very Best Reflection Photos!
I can't even remember where we were when we happened along this magnificent scene. This lake was a fairly large lake, but the moisture in the air in combination with the angle of the sun gave some utterly astonishing colors with the clouds reflecting on the water. Check it out! Foxy! He Think We Can't See Him!
We ran across this young fox who was looking across to the other shore at something and then realized we were there. He ducked down and froze. We did the same and after about three minutes of 'Freeze tag,' he slinked away. Picture ONE Picture TWO Sign in to see full entry.

The Northern Lights At Christmas Michigan During the Perseids
This is another "honeymoon era" photo taken almost exactly two years ago. We were staying near Munising, but I knew there was a nice beach over a few miles just outside of Christmas, Michigan. The Perseids were streaking heavily, and I even caught one in the upper left side of this time delay shot.... Sign in to see full entry.
