Sunset on Big Mud Lake

A Bear In The Fall
I was about fifty yards (~150 feet) from this young man when I first saw him. He was raiding a gut pile left behind from a gutted deer shot by a hunter. This Is How They Build A Nest
I caught this shot on a frigid day in March a few years ago. It might have been cold, but the eagle couple was busy assembling a nest for the little ones they would have in early May. The eagle on the left is a "teenager," a bird about three or four. The bird on the right is an adult, probably ten to twelve.
