We all have them, but won’t admit it. Yesterday’s “Oprah” discussed the cultural biases and norms which exist in conversation. For example, two people of the same cultural backgrounds can use language in conversation that might be offensive if someone from a different culture were to use it. Context... One Special Lady
My mom is so special. I am so thankful to the Lord for her! Mom raised the four of us alone, as my father was very uninvolved growing up. We kids were and always have been the most important thing in her life, second only to the Lord Jesus. Following my parents divorce, my father’s uninvolvement... Sign in to see full entry.

The message at church today was great! I just had to share it with you! Our pastor talked about all of the symbols the Lord has left the world, which prove The Holy Bible is inspired by God himself. Today’s quiet time message was such an encouraging reminder! When we are weak, the Lord will strengthen us and cause us to stand. We are undeserving of His love. Yet, He loved the world so much that He died on the cross for our sins! If we trust in Him, we will not die but will experience the... Sign in to see full entry.

Jesus Is In Control!
It’s cold outside and we are expecting snow and ice tonight. Today’s quiet time focused on Isaiah 40. What a wonderful reminder that I have no reason to be afraid! The Lord is on my side and is working everything out in my life for his glory and my good. The Lord is in control, I just need to let... Sign in to see full entry.

I pray that he will be honored in my life and that His love would be shared in my lesson with S today. I hope you... Sign in to see full entry.
