Movie is fiction
Had Gibson stuck to the Gospels, as he said he did, the movie would have been about 20 minutes long.  He embellished, and that makes the movie fiction.

And A Few That I Avoid

Knee deep bullshit is what comes to mind when I read the advice given to ScottU from mrsillinois96.  Why would a grown woman blatantly tell a grown man that is just a friend that he has plenty of time for women when he obviously wants a relationship now? I mean how old is this guy? This is some scary shit! My hair actually stood on end at these strange mix of words coming from mrsillinois96. She stated to ScottU  "your not ready to have a girlfriend yet". "Women are distractions.....and I'll be perfectly honest, she would be ever so jealous of your friendship of me. So I think you should wait on this. You don't have the first clue on how to pick the right girl, you think having a nice girlfriend will bring you happiness and you are too submissive". In my opinion, no friend would give this kind of advice out if they wished to remain a friend. Giving out false hope that is brimming with foul smelling fertilizer is not friendly no matter how you look at it. I'm almost positive that after this hits the blogging circuit that I won't be on mrsillinois96 fan club list. Anyway, some of the bloggers that I am a fan of are listed below:

But I'm talking real movies, done at the level of Mel Gibson's movies.  I've seen church movies and they are soft and preachy, bland to say the least.  The plays are done by amateurs and not professionally performed.  I'm talking real stuff here, not the nambly-pambly.

Good idea, but that's already done in some Christian Churches. They do plays based on the Bible, including the Passion.
