ROCKY MOUNTAIN CLIMBIN' PART VI

STRAIGHT UP or how far do you think I can go in Roman numerals? I looked up. The trail now wound back and forth, but more upward than to either side, toward the saddle between the summit on the left and the lower, rounder peak on the right. ROCKY MOUNTAIN CLIMBIN PART V

ALONG THE LONG STRAIGHT TRAIL It was straight, but it was not level -- it ascended. And I stopped to rest several times. Boy! Should have paced myself. That was okay though -- if I rested frequently enough, I could make it to the top -- that was the idea -- not to get so exhausted that I couldn't.... Sign in to see full entry.
