Time is Flying By

Well, it has been a hectic two weeks. My cold settle in my lungs and I had to get a round of antibiotics and Advir and I'm finally starting to feel better. Rick still has a cough. I can't believe that Thansgiving is here. We are having a Thanksgiving at Blake and Yvette's. I'm getting a fried turkey from Bojangles and Kavira is making a /turkey and/ Blake is making a ham. Locked out

Yesterday we started the new security entry system to enter the clinic. We each have a card that we swipe and it records the times you enter the building. Will also be used for tracking tardiness. Of course, mine doesn't work on either door. I was lucky enough to have someone coming out just as I was trying my card for the tenth time. I don't know why I thought it would miraculously work on the tenth try. I had to leave my card so that it could be fixed today. I will have to park in the back and... Sign in to see full entry.

Life is Good

Life is so good and so busy. I have been working extra at the clinic to help cover for sick call in's. I got a choice to work Thursday and Friday or take off since I had worked extra. I chose off. Imagine that. LOL Before I could get home Wednesday evening, I had an earache and a cold starting. Rick was sick also with Strep. So my 2 days extra off have been spent sleeping. Myrtle Beach

Hi all. Just got back from a week at Myrtle Beach, SC. I have been on the BEST and MOST ROMATIC vacation of my life. We had a wonderful time. Sunrise walks on the beach. Pictures tomorrow. We played in the ocean and the lazy river. We went to Brookgreen Gardens. It is awesome. Sculptures and poems everywhere in a garden of flowers and shrubs and walkways. Another Perfect Weekend

It has been another great, wonderful and perfect weekend. We went to Rick's church Sunday. It was very nice and everyone was really glad to see Rick. He had not been in a while since he doesn't like going to church alone. We went to see his Mom and his sister was there. We had a great visit with them. We went to Five Guys for burgers and fries. What a Wonderful Week

It has been just the best week ever. I have been doing chart reviews and driving a lot. One site is an hour and a half away and I had to go three times this week. I put my Pistol Annies "Hell on Heels" and sing along to all the songs. I think I blend well with them. LOL When I did a review in Bristol 2 weeks ago, I saw the Hospice House on Bristol Regional Med Center campus. It is the only hospice facility in this area. Yaaaaaaay A Seven Year Reprieve

Colonoscopy done and all is well. I even got to expand the time for next screening to 7 years instead of 5. The colonoscopy is easy but the prep will kill you.LOL R took very good care of me during the prep and stayed with me on the day of the colonoscopy and was my designated driver. How did I get so lucky? The move to the new clinic is in progress. It Couldn't be Better if I Tried

Life is so good. The Universe is giving me the best presents. I have my wonderful, awesome, kind, gentle, caring, insightful, humorous, funny, LOVING, and handsome man who takes excellent care of me. Isn't that a nice change? R is my gift from the Universe. It is as if God looked into the deepest part of my heart and soul and gave me my other half. Each day just gets better and better. Another Perfect Weekend

We have had another perfect weekend. We did absolutely nothing on Saturday except just BE together. On Sunday we went to the outdoor symphony concert on Boone Lake at Winged Deer Park. We made homemade egg rolls to take for a picnic snack. The evening was beautiful and the music was fantastic. There was a nice crowd and pets also. It was fun to listen to the music and people watch. A Beach Trip

Music to my ears; "Why don't we go to the beach after your neice's wedding in October?" I can't wait. It is the vacation of my dreams. It was R's idea. How Do You Described Perfection

I can't begin to describe the perfection of this past week. I had no idea the joy and happiness that could be felt in such a short period of time. We have had so much fun, soul to soul communication and friendship. We finish each other's sentences. If I have a thought, he comments on it and if he has a thought, I can comment on it before either of us has verbalized it. He writes poetry for me. He cleans up when I cook. He is so kind and gentle. A Perfect Weekend

The laughter, joy, peace, harmony and happiness of this weekend are beyond words of description. We started with dinner Friday night and then the movie Campaign. It is so funny. Saturday was a day of doing nothing together and I met his mother. I passed. LOL I taught R how to make fried potatoes and onions and baked pork chops. He is still learning to cook. So Easy You Can Do It in Your Sleep

Several weeks ago, I noticed that our clinic is the only clinic without a Health Educator and I talked to Lisa the director about creating a position. I told her I would come back full time to be a Health Educator for the patients and staff.
