Tragedy

An Indian (Chennai, India) woman kills herself so that her two blind sons can gain sight. However, one will not be helped with a cornea transplant, the other does not have a cornea defect. Stirring Up Trouble

Commitment Or Commitable?

Two South Koreans cut off a finger in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, South Korea today to protest Japan's claim to a couple of volcanic islets off the Korean peninsula, territory that has long been disputed.
