All Not So Quiet On The MidEast Front

Ten days ago I posted a blog about my suspicions of the quietness in Iraq. A day later, I posted another when I read about certain analysts and military leaders spouting about how the insurgency was on the ropes and citing numbers and facts that showed how attacks were down. It was on the evening... Sign in to see full entry.

Give Up Your Life And Liberty So Others May Enjoy Theirs

Recent indicators show that army recruitment is slumping. I can think of no earthly reason why that should be so. Army officials say they may try a recruitment angle geared toward patriotism and aimed at the parents of young people. Yeah, I like that one. I have three pre-teen boys I am in a hurry... When Dubya Speaks, People -- Well, People Generally Laugh

Quote of the day: ''These are landmark events in the history of freedom," Bush announced in his weekly radio speech, this one on the anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. He backed up this statement by stating that the United States was justified in invading Iraq, despite proof that the original... Sign in to see full entry.
