Annicita Wants To Know
It took a lot of experimenting before I was satisfied with the outcome of making pumpkin pies from an honest to goodness pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. You see, my mother always made her pumpkin pies from... and not so that's the way I learned to do it....a can of Libby's with the pumpkin pie...

Can You Smell It?
I can, and I haven't even baked it yet. I'm already reveling in the smells and tastes of pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies. Pumpkin coffee is "the thing" at Starbucks this season, and at Dunkin Donuts. I bought some fresh cinnamon sticks, so I'm ready to do something....not quite sure what...

The Boring Cave
We got dumped on this evening, lots and lots and lots of rain that came down all at once, flooded my plants on the porch, inundated our curving road around the lakes and down past the runoff creek, and took away our electricity just five minutes before the CHIEFS / Eagles football game was to start....
