It will be interesting to follow your picture documentation, TAPS. I enjoy seeing the differences between my area and others. Such a nice way you have of describing the lady's joy as the children descibe Nature's beauty to her.

This is one of the few things that my wife and I are complete opposites on. She loves the Spring, seeing the leaves return to the trees, watching the plants and flowers bloom, feeling the warmth as the temperatures rise. Me, I prefer the Fall, seeing the leaves change color and eventually fall off the trees, watching the flowers put themselves to bed, feeling the coolness as the temperatures drop. Thank goodness for compromises . . .

Lovely idea Taps though I don't like Autumn , I like Spring. Perhaps your photos will convince a skeptic. US spelling.

Beautiful photographs but the story was wonderful. I could picture that as clearly as the photos. You are such a great storyteller. This is more than just a record of fact you will I hope share but a record with a heart. Be blessed.

I love this time of the year as well. My favorite part of it is the October Chill.

There is a magic to fall...

when the oppressive heat of summer is gone, and the colors emerge from the assorted greens of the woods...  I look forward to your photos!
