April
It is April. There is snow. Surprise, surprise. April is just one of those unpredictable months. April 21st, 1993, I was bringing home a new baby wrapped in only a light blanket, a white bonnet on her little head. 8 years later, another April, another new baby. This one coming home clad in snow bunting, knitted hat and all. It's always like that in the Midwest. So you would think I would expect it by now. But every year, there is just that rising hope that this April will be a warm one...a...
