Priceless
I was in a full force cleaning mode tonight. I was actually cleaning the basement and had about finished when my 7 yr old came downstairs with a book. "Mommy," she said, "Can we sit on the couch and read?" How I wanted to say "no". Or "later" (that infamous word)... But something in me made me hesitate...and I said, "Sure, let's go read." And I flipped the lights off, knowing that the cleaning would wait. The look on her face was priceless. We read story after story until she was yawning.... and...
