Where did the summer go? When I was a kid the summer stretched endlessly – it was the yellow brick road to Oz. On rainy days I used to hide out in the woodshed and read a book, safely out of mom’s sight. Some mornings we’d take long hikes, climb down the bank at the bridge and follow deer tracks...
