The redeemption of a first born donkey in Melbourne

I did not go to this event and had intended to but I did find photos on the net about it. It is fascinating and is a very rare mitza as not many donkeys in this day and age are owned by Jews. If we do own a male donkey that is the first born or first issue of its mother donkey, we have to redeem it. As a donkey can not enter the grounds of the Beit Hamikdosh it has to be exchanged for a sheep that will be shected or slaughtered eventually. Here is the link to the photos....
