Planet eye is wandering...

I'm also happy to be able to practise French again. Got a bit rusty, but as my Arabic is non existent... except 'Thank... Sign in to see full entry.

A hotel with history

The cosy little Medusa Hotel which is close to where I live and also right next door to the Apollo Temple and orcalce which is an important historical site, has a history all of its own. The owner is enthusiastic about helping along Turksih/Greek friendship, something of an issue in Turkey as you... Sign in to see full entry.

Onwards and upwards

There is no remedy to itchy feet (those of compulsive travelers, of course). Taking advantage of Turkey's proximity to so many Middle Eastern countries, I have planned a lot of trips over the course of this year and have just booked the first one. On May 3rd I'm off to Beirut for 3 days. It's only... Sign in to see full entry.

My Easter pictures

The I hope you all have a lovely and peaceful Easter. This being Turkey, there is not much that reminds of Easter, but the weather is so nice and I went for a walk uphill to the Apollo tempel, an ancient site of glorious columns and images of the Medusa, right next door to me, so to speak. There is... Sign in to see full entry.
