I LOVE THE SOUTH

Supper Time Y'all
Yes this lovely cauliflower came from our garden, or is still there. George took photographs but has not brought it in to be cooked. I have lovely Savoy cabbages growing and Broccoli to. I am so excited. Y'all come on over we will cook up a bite!

I'LL TAKE TWO!
Okay so I wrote just last night, and today I am writing again because I am sure I shall not have the time this week to write much or at least almost sure. Today was such a blessing I have to share it. I am allowed to give the regular residents a single chocolate but not those in Alzheimer’s unite as they are more closely supervised. AGE IS DUE SOME ACLAIM
All things require understanding but most things are not understood. Is wisdom always wise in the eyes of the beholder? With age comes wisdom! I really have been contemplating such a declaration as the relationship between the two, age and wisdom! My hair has lost all color; it is like a fresh snow bank on the crest of a faraway mountain. WHAT NOW?
Sometimes there are more jobs than there are hours. It seems it has been that way at my house recently. I can’t seem to get on Blogit. I did want to bring more clarity somewhat to my last post. I am not and have never been one for inequality between men and women. I do think since it is the natural process for women to give birth it should be their right to stay home with their children if they choose. DANG I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT
Boy did I think I was smart. I always made exceptionally good grades both school and college. Little did I know I did not know squat about life and the real living of it until the last fifteen years. I learned more from my children than they learned from me. Actually, neither is of a great deal of value. It is a societal breakdown. House Cleaning Day, Duh!
The weather is the most unusual here I ever remember. We had 70° weather last week and the first part of this one with tremendous rain now it is 30° with the sun shining brightly. Never thought such weather could be. I am really into house cleaning today and I am sure both my husband and the house will love that. These last few weeks have been very busy and each job left exhausted. I have slept a lot these two weeks but I am ready to go today. It has rained so much lately I have the windows open...

OH MY GOODNESS WHAT NOW
I called my daughter to ask for prayer for an issue and she discussed the events of her day with me! She is the mother of my only grandson who is very small, but tall for his age. He is a student of Karate, having won many championships. He is good in a variety of sports, an even-tempered little boy, known for being able to mix well with other children. He is very cautious about his Karate. At the age of 12, he was tri-state champion of his age group. He went into a long drawn out discussion...

I JUST FOUND A HOLE IN THE WALL
When I write about the things we do in ministry I am doing that because the causes are worthy and I want to share what is happening out here. WHAT? NOT EVEN THAT?
Nothing colossal happened here today, yesterday or lately. Oh my gas bill doubled and surely that had something to do with our having a couple of weeks around 70 degrees, ya think? There was not any exciting news, a little snow it came drifting down like tiny white feathers but no snow on the ground, none! Nobody came to repair the dryer yet. I HAD COMPANY TODAY
Today was a special day. We had visitors. That is a cold or formal way of saying we had a wonderful surprise. My daughter and grandson came to visit. They have never just popped in on me. My children always called to see if there was anything in the world more important than a visit from them so why change now? I loved it. We sat and talked for such a long time, had tea and homemade bread with country butter and a bit of strawberry/fig jam. Just us girls, Grandson and Papa George did not partake...

OH WELL THIS IS REALLY WHAT I MEANT, OR WAS IT? WHAT?
I want to take another stab at getting this all clarified. It went from wow to scooby scooby do this time! BC-A did refer to this being like the instinctive mating of dogs. Wow, no dear one not in any sort of way! This is not about sexual freedoms and permissive overrides on any scale. It is about the totality of fulfilment of life. MAYBE TODAY
