Gardens and their inhabitants
Once again, cold but sunny this morning, and a moderately cold week until Saturday when temps might get into the 50s. This morning I am baking artichokes and dirt. The artichokes are foil-wrapped, and the dirt is nothing to do with them. I read recently about the unwisdom of recycling the soil from potted plants without making sure it is free of organic intruders, like bugs, which could harm the new plantings.
