I just added ~800 words to 'Interdimensional' that should have been part of last nights' entry, but I had painted myself into a corner and wasn't sure of how I was going to get out of it. I could have dumped the entire sub-chapter and started over, or I could fix it. After staring at it for about... Sign in to see full entry.

The wind tossing the trees around, occasionally touching the house, caused the dogs to be alert for intruders all night. It's a wonderful 22 degrees outside with some occasional snow drifting down. As Lawrence Welk used to say, 'Wunerful, wunerful!' While I will be taking them outside for their... Sign in to see full entry.

I narrowly escaped another computer disaster based on the problem I had last year. I'm not sure exactly what set this thing off, but I restarted my main computer and it went into recovery mode. Well, three hours later, I was able to restore the thing exactly how I had last left it, but had I not... Sign in to see full entry.

True story. It's currently 38 degrees, and yet, it is actively snowing outside. I was up (far too) late last night talking to someone in 'emotional upset.' If I was lucky, I got a total of four hours of sleep last night. Ehhh. Life goes on. I'll probably take the dogs out for a bit and return. The... Sign in to see full entry.

Just Some Updates

I've been working on getting further along in my 'Interdimentional' story, but I've been emailing back and forth with Michael, the man who did the voicing of 'The Touch.' He is currently all but done with my 'It's A Springtime Thing.' It's only a seventy minute story, but he has done an excellent... Sign in to see full entry.

It appears today will be one of those days where we will be at the bottom of the temperature yo-yo we will have all this week. High of 34 today, but 45 tomorrow. We get caught between the push and shove of barometric pressures from Lake Superior and Lakes Michigan and Huron. The wind comes hard from... Sign in to see full entry.

It might be a nice day here as Spring and warmer weather try one more time to poke its head into the UP. I have friends in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin who are also ready for a warm up, no matter how small, to happen. The wildlife in the area is beginning act like it's spring. I'm not 100%... This will be a quiet day for me. This was the last day I actually had my wife with me. This photo was taken about early October of 2017. It was one of the last times that Judy was actually active enough to go out into the forest with me and the dogs. Her apparent happiness was displayed in one of... Sign in to see full entry.

Sorry about such a late appearance to the Blog-It scene today. Too many calls from people that mean nothing to me shy of being a leech of my time. I did get one call worth taking from a website that has been following some of my posts elsewhere. They wondered if I would be interested in doing a... Sign in to see full entry.

As I've gone through my tens of thousands of photos of the Upper Peninsula and from my time in Florida, I've decided that I just follow up on urgings I've heard here and elsewhere to make an ebook of maybe 40 to 50 select photos I've collected over the years. A tentative title might be, 'The Beauty... Sign in to see full entry.
