It is not unusual to see deer in the village. Since I've been here, I've seen two moose in town. This village is in the middle of a large forest. Most of the time, the wild creatures tend to stay in the wild... but there are days!

People don't visualize then to be as big as they are! In Anchorage AK They are walking on all of the city streets...

I do not believe that I have ever seen a moose.
What a sight that would be. I just watched a cooking show that is based on the Minnesota/North Dakota border. It looks like a really pretty area, but still cold.
