I am off to Guadalajara, Mexico tomorrow at 4 a.m. What fun awaits !
Going with almost the entire family and have a real dog sitter in the house, so, if I had money, everything would be perfect. My sister gave me $200 and I bought dog food and gasoline and mailed a painting off to a customer and can't remember what else now, but I have $25 left for travelling, Hehehehehehehh. sigh..............

Education is the process of moving from cocksure ignorance to

The Golden Rule is mine. I helped my favorite neighbor to move out.
I shall miss her greatly. She was strong and wild and capable and could fix cars and machines and wrestle recalcitrant dogs and so much else. She's the one that I drove to the vet to put down her old Max, a sad day. Moving to Santa Fe, so I now have digs in Santa Fe. I scrubbed her stove, lifted the top and opened it up everywhere and made it shine. New neighbors, new dogs, babysitting and making slide shows
The guest house now has a new lady in it and sometimes her boyfriend. They have a white Llasa Apso (sp?) and a brown and red and white English Bull Dog, the froggy kind, both males. My girls have met Cotton the small 7 month old puppy, but haven't met the big guy as yet, only listened to him. They are hyped constantly now tho'. I paid the rent in advance for the first time in years. So, less worries about not having rent money on time. I am officially two months in advance. Gave up eating to...

My family is obsessed with the Fail Blog this week.
Here it is. I just look at the still photos as the videos would disturb me too much. Otherwise, we exchange info on facebook, work our blogs and listservs and real life jobs and jointly anticipate my niece's wedding in Guadalajara in October. I have begun a diet as we all will be photo'd in the newspaper and that gives me shivers. Yikes!! I found this African music station online and listen to it all day sometimes, dancing many times each day to lose more weight. I prefer the very first radio...
