Did you get this email about how to fix the economy with only $40 million?
Dear Mr. President, Patriotic retirement: There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force; pay them $1 million apiece severance with 3 stipulations if they are citizens: 1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed. 2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed. 3) They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage- Housing Crisis fixed. All National financial problems fixed!!! Cute, no??

Birthday lunches and dinners and days in bed.
If the birthday that I have had this year is any indication of the year's scene, I am ready to skip this year. My baby grandson had some horrendous stomach thingie, which at 5 months or so of age, had him just a rag doll in my arms, an unhappy and lethargic fellow who alternately vomited and pooped his tiny brains out. I spent my time there just rocking him, giving him pedialyte or washing him, poor thing. I disinfected everything with chlorox wipes and scrubbed my hands over and over, but, to...
