Just watered, raked and washed off the walkway and porches.

Filled the water containers and made it all pretty again out back. The front garden is another matter. I have to locate the reciprocating saw so that I can cut the fallen nopales and put them in the trash. Then I have to paint the remaining walls in the garden, throw away the old door as table out... Grandma's Garden is neglected like the blog post.

I raked up all fallen bamboo debris, dog poop and teddy bear and toy guts. I re-arranged the boxes on the back porch to get them out of the rains of the last two days. I stare in deep sorrow at the mud and drying dirt all over the floors and furniture covers. And, dogs. But that is INSIDE and I am... Sign in to see full entry.

A man who asked for money asked to come and help me in the garden.

My brutal schizophrenic gardener is now in a halfway house and improving steadily. This fellow walked by and asked for money, asking for work. I had money and gave him about eight dollars, and had not the time to work with him, asking him to return another day. Another day is tomorrow and I am out... Sign in to see full entry.

Abuelita's garden is sopping wet and surely happy about that.

Otherwise, it is neglected. Piles that were raked for disposal are now rescattered by wrestling dogs. All is wet, birds are still being fed, tho' their seeds ran out today. My newly painted little wall out front looks really pretty all wet. I paid a young fellow five dollars to add my address... Sign in to see full entry.

My garden looks like it stands on the edge of an Elephant Walk and

looks like the elephants detoured off that walk for one moment to stomp cacti into the ground and fling things everywhere. Minor storms have messed with the gardens, but I haven't a moment and just avoid looking out the windows, for now. Sigh............... The naughty cat still visits daily and I... Grandma's garden is a disaster and at least the bird feeders are cared for.

That crazy kitty who crouches under the garden table to glare at my dogs through the picture window out front, still comes to visit about eight times a crazy day. I bought more paint to finish the long running front brick wall on the east side of the front garden. And to paint its adjoining northern... Sign in to see full entry.

Deep watering everywhere just before leaving town.

Sprayed the aphids who attacked the poor tree which was hit by lightning and then cut down to four feet. Thirty new branches were sprouting and then aphids came to cripple the growth. I got them, not a fan of poison, but this was just too mean for that poor tree. I will fill the kiddie/doggie pool... Sign in to see full entry.

Carressing my front garden this a.m. as I have nothing else to do.

I washed garden walls in preparations for painting them this p.m., sprayed the abandoned house's japanese maple and agave with mucho water, picked up things and pulled the huge garbage can into the garden for filling. Time to let go of half done things..... Put a box of books out in front of the... Sign in to see full entry.

OMG, the garden is full of debris and dog poop. I spent the morning on my

day off, today, raking and lifting poop out of the garden and then piling up debris for later gathering this week. The dogs have pretty well messed up the place and I have been gone, so it's looks neglected. Mosinha's pool has been empty this week. I must go fix the hole in it and refill it today. I... The skies have been a pale grey with wispy, blowing clouds for two days.

Tonight, at about 10 p.m. I heard real rain on the roof. Haven't heard that in weeks and I had gotten used to it this summer. Now I hear my windchimes from my son's trip to Korea making their tiny brassy ding, ding, ding.... When the winds are stronger, I can hear the coconut fish knock, knock,...
