My tree is circled with my neighbor's planters and I miss her.

She could only pack her life into one large 4runner. She left so much behind. I now have a large t.v. again and may have to pass it on if she doesn't come back for it in Nov. as she hopes to. I filled the guesthouse storage shed with her leftovers for November and then gave the guesthouse neighbor... Sign in to see full entry.

Grandma's Garden fills her with despair. Oh my goodness me.

The plumber trenched from one end to the other and then around back of my house and the guest house. Totally new water lines. He upended walkways and covered my amended soil little side garden, ripped out separators and delineators and generally had a good old time while I hid in the house, sobbing.... Washing and drying machines are in the garden, so I am raking as I do them.

I have Zap Mama playing on my cd player, trying to outshout the construction workers' rock in the guesthouse. These ladies follow in the voice patterns of Sweet Honey in the Rock and Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon who lead them into being.........life is a long road of sound, as sound speaks to our... Grandma's garden has ten thousands holes in it now.

Mosinha on her chain has taken to digging deep deep holes and now Baby helps her by doing one next to her or taking turns with her inside the tunnel. I try NOT to forget this when taking laundry outside to the washing machine at the side of the house where there is no light. However, I have been... Sign in to see full entry.

Being ill makes things look much worse than they are, no??

I crawled out of bed after getting a vicious bug from a grandson. The dogs had knocked over a garbage can in my absence and had scattered things everywhere. Two days of wind had shaken 500 pounds of bamboo debris into the garden. My dogs had pooped their brains out behind the bamboo, making piles... Sign in to see full entry.

My naughtiest doggie, who jumps over fences now the very exact moment

that she steps out the door, must now be chained for her outdoor time. The other dogs don't like to spend much time out there if I am in here. so, I lock them outside to be with her and then after about twnety minutes, I bring her back inside. The garden is a disaster again, fallen bamboo debris... Sign in to see full entry.

I listened to this album of songs on this cold and wintery day

in Tucson. There was a wind and so I sat in the front garden and just stared at clouds while listening to Serge Reggiani, un italiano singing en francais.....the song is actually named Sarah Sign in to see full entry.

Dragged a huge garbage can into the front garden, filled it.

I took down all Christmas lights as they were all dead from a rainstorm. I had purchased 12 boxes of lights at $.33 each after Christmas at Walgreen's, and I put them all up yesterday. They cross the front porch and circle the doorway. Lovely and bright. My African hosted son reminded me of how high... Sign in to see full entry.

Well, I spent from 5 a.m. until 6 a.m. picking up the mess out back in the

garden again. The dogs tore open a garbage bag that they pulled down from somewhere high up and then open ed a box left behind by my hosted granddaughter. Looked like it had rained debris all over the place. Baby had also dragged some dirty clothes out of the basket and had found a bottle of snow... Sign in to see full entry.
