It's been a hell of a couple of weeks. I have been working my regular job at the daycare center than after that I head off to my dad's store to work the night shift at his store so he can have a break he is looking for help but has not found any. A girl worked for him but she didn't last long, she quit the next day. So my dad is very stressed and I' am working non- stop and missing my kids and you guys. It's too hot to write. Last night the hydro went out probably because of all those jerks using there air conditoners on full blast all day and night. I can understand it during the day but at night all you have to do is open your windows, it does cool down during the night and is comfortable enough to sleep in. I don't understand why people are so hydro hungry. I have two fans and that is all I have ever had. We never had the luxury of air condition even in the car when it was there my dad never... Dog saves owners life after dragging him out of burning house, that was in our local news yesterday. I read it in the paper at my dad's store a white lab pulled his unconscious owner out of the house that caught on fire. Someone driving by saw the heroic dog and than called the fire department. So that headline got me thinking, we always hear about the beloved pet saving their owners lives. But what about the animals who do nothing, you never hear there stories. It is a beautiful cottage. I call it a cabin but it isn't, I say cabin because we used to go to the cabin every summer for the weekend when we were kids. Last week we rented our friends cottage out in beautiful Bruce Peninsula in Ontario Canada,by Miller Lake. It was great the weather was not as good as last year, last year it was too hot to do anything but swim. This year was too cold to swim but my kids and I braved the water anyways. LOL. It's been a week away from t.v., internet access, you get it. My kids did really well they only freaked when they woke up to watch cartoons. It was a very busy week trying to figure out what to plan each day to keep them from being bored. But we made it through, thank goodness. I just put my crying son to bed. He is mad because after t-ball some stupid ass parent invited the whole team to his birthday party on Saturday but left out mine. I can't believe this person. Why would you do that? At my son's party this person's kid was there and my son and him play together at school and at t-ball. Now my son just thinks they forgot to give him one when I know they didn't. I even said hi and chatted with the mother before t-ball ended. Now I feel stupid, my son feels abandoned... Next week, well actually Sunday we are leaving for a whole week. We are going out into the woods and staying in a cabin we rent every year by the water where the black bears roam. So next week I will be gone and won't be able to post anything or read anyone which will make me very sad and mad. But I thought of something that Blogit should do and I hope they are reading. I used to work in a busy hardware store/post office when I went to high school. After school, when we got to work, the boss would leave me and this other girl to run the store while he did some glass and screen jobs around town for some customers. Which was the best time ever when the boss left, we could sit on the patio furniture instead of standing around all day long. I want to know what you think to this question because hurricane season is already on the way. So here is the question: Are Hurricanes becoming more intense in strength and destruction or just more frequent in numbers than destruction that has everyone worried? Tell me what you think. I hope all the blogit father's out there enjoy the company of their children today. My kids Father is still in bed. The kids and I made him breakfast in bed and he ate it and went back to bed. He's lucky it's his day. LOL No I'm used to it he only sleeps in every weekend. But today my dad and I and the kids are all going to the movie theater to see the movie Cars. We just got home from t-ball and from the store around eight. We had to pick up the milk, I was on my bike, my daughter behind me in her seat, my son on his own bike. Since I had my hands full I handed the keys to my son to open the door for us but I told him not to let the dog out, to just unlock it and shut it. He was playing with the keys for a little bit turning them in the lock and I was busy yapping to the neighbour who's kid ran out when my son decided to throw the keys inside and slam... If your American you might not know what I'm talking about but if your Canadian you know(no offense Americans, I'm sure some of you know). It's hockey and the Edmonton Oilers are skating on thin ice. Yes it's true after a great year and a wonderful playoff run they have a chance of getting beat by the Carolina Hurricanes to take Lord Stanley Cup. Our old neighbour came walking by last night. He was being nosey looking to see who moved beside me into his old place. I was outside like always with my kids and everyone elses. He stood outback peering in their window picking up the beer bottles. I laughed and told him not to bother. He informed me he needs the money and he might as well pick them up, with bloodshot eyes. My son got a letter home from school with the title page "A Note To All Parents, I am not looking to alarm you," My thoughts were oh no what the hell did my son do now. But as I turned the page and read: Earlier today a phone call came in from a parent indicating that her child has possible Bacterial Meningitis. Me: What? Letter con.
