Hi, 8-ball,

I agree.  It's too hot.  Eh, maybe not TOO hot, but hot enough.  I don't understand why people hog up all the AC, either.  I'm more like your dad.  I'll keep the windows rolled down as long as I can stand it.  Then only put the AC on a moderate setting, usually.

As for the world ending stuff,  I hope to see my children's children grow up in a better world than the way it is now.  There's so much good and bad around, it's encouraging and discouraging at the same time.  Wow.

the planet wouldn't continue existing if we didn't get wiped out, it's the

survival method of the universe.  time and again we've discovered entire civilizations that were wiped out, animal and man, through natural disaster, disease and war.  it's only a matter of time before mother nature and father time have a clearing house special and many of us will be gone.

but we're all going, one way or another, so i think i'll go for a walk with my dog, admire the beauty of the world around me and wish passersby a lovely day.

you have a good day too and thanks for sharing your world with me.

Yes I hope it doesn't end too soon. Last night for some reason I couldn't get any USA channels and I got worried about the Americans. I thought something bad happened over there because all the channels for Canada came in fine. I was worried they have a huge target on their back right now. Today they came in fine.

When it does end, at least we won't have to deal with the heat!
Well, some of us, maybe...  LOL

8-Ball, Yes the world is coming to an end someday, today, tomorrow,
who knows, but it will come to an end, and we should live with such truth in mind!

.Dave.
Your right our grandchildren may have it easy technology wise but curing the world is the next thing they will have to worry about. We may not have the technology to do so.

Ha! We never used the A/C in our cars either for the same reason!

My mom would say, "I don't care if you're about to die from heatstroke, I'm not turning the air conditioner on! Hey, then I'd save money on gas and food!"

I don't know what the future holds. All I have to go by are the tabloids in the supermarket and I have to say they're looking pretty grim.

You just gotta enjoy life while you have it. Any one of us could die tomorrow and I can guaratee that if it was you you wouldn't be thinking about the ending of the world anymore!

Here in TEXAS---
EVERYTHING is air conditioned...The temp hovers around 102 degrees each day. When I go out to lunch, I cant touch the metal parts of my steering wheel without getting burned. I love summer.

It's baloney, 8-ball. The world won't come to an end soon, but WE might.
That's the worrying bit, not for us, but for our grandchildren.

I have a small window A/C
for the bedroom as the humidity gets so bad here that I can't breathe.  I only use it at night.
