IN 1971, Mrs. Marlin Perkins declared that there were no wild wolves left in the State of Missouri. In 1962, a friend of mine had his picture taken in the local paper holding a wolf he had shot with a.353 magnum hunting rifle and had gotten the $15 bounty for.
