We were so lucky! We had a flat tire this morning!

It could have been last night in the thunderin' rain alongside I-70... Could have happened out on the ranch road miles from anywhere, where we drove out to exercise the lens... I thought I could, but I couldn't. If you have read here lately, you know what happened to my good camera, the one I got only last fall, with the, 10x optical zoom. Middle of the night haven't finished (started) packing not-sleepings

And more good news...

The judges at the Thurston Co Fair awarded recognition to 3 of my 6 submissions: The aerial shot of Utah won a second and the Superintendant's Award. The Mesa Verde Ladder also won a second place ribbon. Forest Madonna won a first place blue ribbon. Very pleased, here! Sign in to see full entry.

bad news and good news

Well, the new laptop did not work out. It was possessed, first of all: could not get Fred Meyer out of it! Second, it was insane: it was installed with VISTA. So it had to go back.
