Swimming with dolphins

is high on my Singapore To-Do list. There seems to be a correlation between the state of emotions of the observer and the proximity of whales. What am I going to forget?

What do you forget when you pack for a long trip? What do you not bother to carry because you figure you can get it there? As the day of departure nears...

Found it!

It was not only in the last place I looked, it was in the first place I looked, but didn't see it because it was tucked under other stuff, and I just missed it. Join me in this moment of suspense...

I can't find my passport. Maybe I shifted it downtown to our safe deposit box. I will be running out to check that possibility very soon. I got shot in the arms today--

Four times, in fact: once for flu, once for polio, once for hepatitus A and once for typhoid. It wasn't so bad-- less than a bee sting that goes on hurting for a long time, then leaves a painful lump for a day or two. On the other hand, OUCH!
