Offy and FG--
Hey, that's almost poetry! The pictures are still 'en camera' and it may be a while before I can load them on photobucket and thence, to here. But I can tease you with hints...
Yesterday, I took several shots of the great Wheel currently under construction. It will be bigger than the Eye of London-- a quick google will clarify, if you are not familiar with that landmark.
The lushness of the greenery here-- I know everyone expects it, this is a tropical paradise after all--but expectation doesn't prepare you for the actual fact. I can hardly wait to show you!

Glad to hear it's type 2! As you already know it can be controlled. For me the factors were weight, diet and lifestyle. I've changed all three and that's why it's under control now. I wish you the VERY best in tackling this and I know it's not easy when travelling. So where are the pictures already! lol

Nearest to a hiccup, Troosha, was yesterday evening when I looked down at
my bag and saw the camera pocket was unzipped, and empty.
I fear my own carelessness, not theft here. It seems a very crime-free city!
When we got home, I found the camera where I had, in fact, left it.

Hi, FoliageGold!
type 2-- and still working on managing it. Timing is the real challenge-- making sure I eat at regular times, and not too much! I did have nuts and carrots and cheese, but couldn't get at them as things worked out.

Ahhh.... the wonders of travel. Glad there have been no hiccups yet. The sights, sounds, and scents when travelling always leave me in awe. Safe travels....

Wow, mostly sounds great so far! Can't wait to see the photos. I was diabetic, but it's under control now. You type 1 or 2? Airline food is mostly piteous these days; guess that's something you could've taken with you? Only saw that post now. Sorry! Enjoy your trip!
