Mount St Helens and a contest: Your opinions requested!

Charlie and his friend and I drove up to Mt St Helens for the first time in many months for me, years for Charlie, ever for Tony. It's the Oregon Country Faire this weekend!

My plans to go are infringed upon by the weekend of LARPing for Charlie and Charlie's dad being out of town until Sunday night, and no dogs-allowed at the Faire. This one, I was going for the mist-laden spider webbing, but the camera would not focus where I wanted it to, and my daughter was waiting... Another trail for TAPS

Every time I walk an interesting trail, I think of our TAPS who is fond of trails leading to unknown places... Sydney: Downtown and Waterfront

Cockatoo! Sydney, Australia: Botanic Gardens

Sydney's Botanic Gardens are a wonderful strolling-place among ancient trees, shared with strutting ibis and raucous sulfur-crested cockatoos that while not tame are not exactly wild, either.
