I finally caught reading everybody's blogs. I need to do that everyday but somehow time just slips away when you are working on renovating our house while still living in it. My DIL brought over the grandkids and we had a nice visit. Ana wants to spend the night this weekend. I hope it works out... Sign in to see full entry.

update

I'm on my way back to the states....my mom is not doing too well. My son says she has started to give things away. She told me a few years back she was tired of living and just taking up space. It's not easy to admit that one day soon she could possibly be gone. Both of my flights with Qatar Airways... Sign in to see full entry.

Pharoanic Village

A7mad brought more than enough from the prices they quoted. We took a cab because we were tired of waiting for a bus that... Sign in to see full entry.

Passenger shaming

This is a new website created by a flight attendant. Pictures of rude flyers that are sent to her are posted on here. There are several pictures that had me just shaking my head. Now I must admit I travel with sandals so that I can take my shoes off but my feet stay down on the ground or on top of... Sign in to see full entry.

Egypt 2014 II

Yesterday A7mad bought some low salt Egyptian cheese. One of my faves to eat on bread with fresh sliced tomato and onion. So yummy! We were supposed to go to the clinic today for him to get an injection in his jaw for his cartilage but he woke up feeling like he had the flu. The next clinic day is... Sign in to see full entry.

Egypt 2014

We went to the main library last week. We couldn't go in because I didn't bring my passport with me. Two days later on Saturday we went again. This time we took a copy of our old marriage license and my passport. They didn't look at the license. They photocopied both my passport and his Egyptian ID.... Sign in to see full entry.

Cords

Thin black strands dangle No pattern Uneven spacing Woven by a drunken spider We were sitting outside of a building originally intended for temporary residency of visiting high ranking government officials for other countries. Outside of the building I notice black cords hanging helter skelter. Sign in to see full entry.
