Why I am opposed to the war

While the soldiers were in Viet Nam, I was a kid, hearing about Viet Nam on TV. One of the first words I learned was "Fighting in Cambodia." "Miracle" remedy Tumms and Alka Seltzer don't want you to know about

In some cases heartburn isn't caused by an excess of acid, but is due to a drop in stomach acidity. If you're a chronic Tumms eater, or Alka Seltzer drinker like me, try a tablespoon of vinegar instead of the usual. I just did and it seems to be working. Sign in to see full entry.

Off to a so-so start

The Orthodox church observes the fast called Advent from the 2nd Monday in November until Christmas Eve there are six weeks. The first four weeks the fast allows for fish, shellfish, and vegetables, but no oil, meat, poultry, eggs, or dairy products. I'll explain after I understand more about it. I...
