Cleaning and typing

My 9 year old daughter is a cleanie. She cleaned the whole house upstairs and it looks really nice. She is home on a cleaning binge while the other 3 walked to the library. Greg is working by himself today, (not digging - that is finished). I have been pretty much having a day off. For recreation I have been doing Mavis Beacon typing. I ordered a CD and was pretty much disappointed with it. But, we left our other Mavis Beacon Teaches typing in Tucson or Mexico. It's ok for what I paid. Two of... Sign in to see full entry.

Weather and getting up early

I actually got up at 6:00 a.m. Greg took the boys out for breakfast to a restaurant where he meets for a men's Bible study. When he first got up he wanted me to write some checks. It takes me a while to wake up, so I had to write everything down, so I don't mess up on it. It looks like it's going to be sunny today. I just looked at the weather forecast. It is 31 degrees F. here now, and by the end of the week it should get up to 70 degrees F. I looked up the Mexico weather, where my daughter is... Sign in to see full entry.

Work and thoughts

Work went well. Sometimes I can get it done in 1 hour by myself, which happened the last 2 nights. Afterwards I went to a thing at church for anyone interested in missions. It was really good tonight, and if I wasn't so late and I wasn't so tired I would share some of what I learned. Maybe I still will tomorrow. Tomorrow I don't have anything planned until work in the evening. I don't know what Greg has planned or if he's working tomorrow. His finger is ok, but could be better. I hope it heals... Plans for today

I slept long. I got to bed late and my back has been achy. It's either the barometric pressure changing, or caffeine withdrawals? I decided to drink less caffeine for a couple of weeks and see if I feel better. Greg took both boys to his digging job. He is pretty tough to be able to crawl under an old house and dig the dirt out. They said both boys could help. The good side to this all is besides getting paid he might get some free or discounted massage for whoever needs it as they are massage... Sign in to see full entry.

A lie

I have been getting notices from the library for a DVD that I was sure I hadn't borrowed. I talked to them about it, and it would cost me $30 if I couldn't find it. They would not even allow me to buy a good used copy off the internet to save $. After I got home, I looked everywhere for the DVD. I then called them to tell them once again that I was very sure that I did not rent it. As I was speaking, I saw it on my bookshelf, upsidedown, with the books instead of the DVD's. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
