A heavy heart

The day is over and I need to get to sleep soon. In the morning I went to church. It was a really good service, with great music. But most of all, during church I had a burden to pray for many people I know. I also have a burden, at times, to pray for those I do not know. I am sad when people cut down christianity. "Fireproof"

It's pretty late, but I want to write. My husband and I watched the movie "Fireproof" in our room. By the time it was over 3 of the kids were all over the bed watching it with us. I'd already seed it, but Greg hadn't. The deleted scenes were really good. Susannah and Gideon made a fried chicken supper (with my instructions). Some of the chicken was not done, so I served what was and put the rest back in the oven. A very good meal and now Susannah knows a little about how to make fried chicken. I... My son Judah's blog

I was wondering what to write about besides what we do everyday. I just got done checking out my son Juda h 's blog, about his trip to Costa Rica and thought it might be interesting to some of you. He is 20 and engaged to be married next June (1 year from now). He is on a road trip hitchhiking with a very good friend of ours whom we met when he was about 15 years old near the village we used to live in in Mexico. It's a sunny day today. Greg is taking stuff to the dump with a friends 8 year old son. Levi is going to be skateboarding with a friend. Gideon is being careful with his back so he isn't going. Clementina is writing letters to her Grandma and Aunt and Susannah is reading. What am I doing? I slept in and now am thinking about my day. Scattered brain

I am staying home today. Nice. The 4 kids just walked to the library. My sister came over and we had a nice visit. I feel like I need a week vacation. Maybe in June, I can go to Mexico and pick up my daughter and bring her back. That would be nice. My brain feels scattered right now. I have a lot of things to do, but I don't know where to start or which ones to do. I feel like being lazy and not doing any of them though. If supper is set up, then I can do something I want to. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
