The Toyota and my weekend

The Toyota doesn't have anything serious wrong with it, but I need to get the transmission flushed and get an oil adapter gasket as it is leaking. To get a tune-up in this vehicle is expensive because the engine is hard to get to, being in the middle of the vehicle. I don't think it needs a tune up right now. At least the inspection was free. My birthday

I only have a couple of minutes. If I don't write now, I will get out of the habit and my posts will be history. I am taking the Toyota Previa to the shop to get it checked out. I'm glad my brother-in-law worked there, as he knows they do a good job and are honest. I'm going to walk around town until it's done. Today is my birthday too! What happened to the VW bus

First, I will tell about what happened to the VW bus. I had taken it in to got the Oregon registration and title. A few days before I had gotten insurance for it. So, I was ready to roll! It seemed to be running fine. Greg was working out of town, and I thought a little drive would be nice. I was enjoying the sunshine and breeze blowing in the window. Plans for today...

Yesterday I got up late, but today early. My record is getting a little better. This morning Greg and I drove to where the VW bus was parked, at our friends. He couldn't get it started, so used jumper cables. At first he thought the battery was bad, but it turned out to be a bad connection. I am glad he is getting all these little quirks fixed before I drive it to the Ranch tonight. My day will be full. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
