Trivia

It's later.... Didn't get a lot done today. On the way to Wal.mart, I had ice tea with the girls. Then we visited a friend, where Clemy had left her shampoo. After that we finally made it to Wal.mart. The girls and I needed sunglasses and I got a few other items. By the time I got home I had a bad headache, due to drinking ice tea instead of coffee in the morning. I took 2 IBU, put a hot pack on my neck and a washcloth on my head. I felt better in 1/2 hour. Todays headlines

I woke up at 5:00 and got the granola off the cookie sheet which was in the oven still. It's better to take it off before it cools all the way, or it is really stuck on there. Greg needed breakfast, and granola is easy. I made it yesterday and forgot about it. I went back to bed and slept till 9:00. Today and tomorrow morning is my last day(s) of getting ready. I am ready, but am trying to get some extras done. Gordon has decided to just get his drivers permit for now. He failed the drivers test... Sign in to see full entry.

Goodnight

I'm exhausted, so can't write much. I got up really early, and even took a nap later. I worked fast at work and got done in 1 hour, which is about as fast as it gets. Tomorrow is really my last day to get ready, so better get to bed. Sign in to see full entry.

I got up early (6:15) and made french toast for the work crew. Gordon had gotten here yesterday, so all the boys stayed up late talking. It's a good think they only work till 2:00. Gordon is taking his drivers test at 3:00, so hope he's not too tired for it. I am letting the girls sleep in till 8:00. That also gives me a little quiet before the day starts. I am re-packing and not going to take as much. Today my list is only 1/2 as long, and hopefully I'll get everything done. If I wasn't going... Sign in to see full entry.

An exceptionally good day

Today has turned out to be a great day. I think part of that is because I got up at 7:00 instead of 8:00. Then I made a list that was so long, it took up the whole paper. I also made one for the girls. On my list, amazingly I got 90% done. The first time in my life I think that a list has worked for me. I think part of the reason I got so much done, is because I'm motivated. While I was waiting for the oil to get changed I found a shady bench by an apartment complex and sat down and started... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
