Company for supper...

The day is over (almost). The potluck was great, with lots of people and food. After eating, there was a baptism in the pool with about 5 getting baptized. The water was quite cold, but still some swam later. We finally got home around 4 and I took a 2 hour nap. When I got up we had company, a Mexican family we met awhile back. They have 4 kids, one being a very cute 6 month old baby girl. My daughter is fluent in Spanish and communicated well with the mom. I was able to communicate also, but... Sign in to see full entry.

We're on our way to a pot-luck, pool party. Funny, it's cooler today, and not hot enough for me to swim. It will be fun for those that can endure cold water. Resting at home...

We're back from work. I was surprised at how fast we got it done. 3 businesses in 2.5 hours! After that we went to Burger King. I got a hamburger without the bun, as I've been on a gluten-free diet for awhile. Now we are all home resting. I guess I'll read some posts now for awhile. Sign in to see full entry.

Coffee with my husband and daughter ...

This morning my husband and daughter left early to have coffee. They left later with friends for a mission meeting. I am leaving to clean 3 businesses with 2 sons and 1 daughter in a bit. I feel pretty tired, so want to rest after we are done cleaning. Talked to my 20 year old son last night. He has been making pin-hole cameras recently. Evening off...

I'm done with work for the day. I got up at 5:30 this morning and that's the main reason I am so tired at 7:30 p.m. I actually only cleaned (in total) 6 hours, but it felt more like 10! I am staying home tonight while my children are slaving away cleaning. I am so thankful to have 2 adult children home right now. They are taking the other 3 to clean 2 businesses tonight, so I don't have to work as much tomorrow. Greg is in the next town cleaning windows for a bank tonight. He and my 24 year old... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
